During our introductions and announcements section, Keith Boncek will introduce Kim Livolsi, who is the new Dell Regional Sales Manager for Higher Education in the New England Region.

Michael Swenson (CIT) - Presentation and discussion on new Help Desk issues and solutions that CIT has been working on recently. If you currently manage a local help desk function in your unit, or are considering deploying a help desk, Michael's presentation will be of great interest. We anticipate a lively dicussion.

As time allows, we will use the remaining time in the meeting to open up the discussion to members to introduce items of interest they are currently involved with, and to also talk about a Birds of a Feather (BOF) future forum to help the CCD's bring interesting and informative agenda items to the meetings.

NOTE THE ROOM LOCATION FOR MAY's MEETING: Because of construction in MVR we had moved all of the CCD meetings for the year 2006 to Rhodes 655. But, we are now able to move back to the Rushmore Room in 114 MVR starting with our May 10 meeting. We will remain in MVR through the remainder of 2006, but we might have to make some minor room changes within the building during a couple of the summer months.

The CCD meeting normally scheduled for this day will instead be used to encourage members to attend the first major IT Forum meeting, being held at the Statler Auditorium and G10 Biotech. Please visit the ITMC website at www.itmc.cornell.edu for more up to date information and events postings. This event will run from 10:30-3:00 on June 14, 2006.

The CCD meetng for July is scheduled to be a 'social' hour in the courtyard outside of MVR. Weather permitting, lets plan to sit outside and enjoy the day. There is a sandwich cart just outside the main doors for MVR and the lady there makes fresh sandwich's and also has drinks and ice cream. In case the weather doesn't cooperate, we still have 114 MVR reserved so we can adjourn inside if necessary.
